A new day

Hello Tuesday!
I see you have a basket of surprises and treats for me today!
I am thankful and appreciate the opportunity to share.
I am centered and focused and can walk through the day with joy in my heart to share with others who may need the smiles.
I will walk gently and listen carefully to all that you have to say.
With a heart full of gratitude,

Change the texture of the fiber and the mud...

It has become clear to me that change is afoot.

I do not actively seek change but have learned that I need to accept it rather than fight it - OK so that lesson is only hours old... no more contemptous remarks about change - more like - come along and be my friend!

I have redirected my fiber fetish recently. I still knit some, finishing a long shadowed cross stitch and some sewing. Recently the fiber that I have held is the fiber of a book, the binding, the pages, the words. Reading with a savage thirst for knowledge...

So to close this transition note I offer these words:

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next. Amen.
